On 20/10/2023, Rian Zanotti successfully defended his Master’s thesis in Industrial Biotechnologies at UNIMORE with a thesis entitled: “Specific sensing of perfluorinated pollutants in water with Electrolyte Gated Organic Transistors”.

During his internship at LEO, Rian worked on the development of Electrolyte Gated Organic Transistors sensors, based on organic polymers, for the detection of polluting highly fluorinated compounds in the framework of PRIN project NIFTY.

Rian obtained the highest grade for his master’s degree with special mention for the high level of his course of studies.

From the first of November Rian will join again LEO as a PhD student in Physics and Nanosciences.

Congratulations!

Congratulations Rian!
