The LEO group warmly congratulates Francesco Martinelli, who graduated today with a Master’s Degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, achieving the highest distinction of 110/110 cum laude.
His thesis, entitled: Development and Characterization of an Organic Electronic Biosensor for Histamine Detection was carried out through a collaboration between LEO and Prof. Laura Pigani of the Department of Chemical and Geological Sciences (DSCG) at UNIMORE.
The research was conducted within the European project AQUAPACK – Sustainable Packaging Solutions for Food and Cosmetics Based on Aquatic Biomass and Side-Streams, which aims to develop sustainable biodegradable packaging alongside innovative solutions for monitoring product freshness and safety.
Congratulations to Francesco on this outstanding achievement and best wishes for the next steps of his scientific career!
