On 20/10, three LEO master students succesfully discussed their master’s thesis in Industrial Biotechnologies at UNIMORE.

Sofia Bigi realized a thesis based on her intership at LEO, where she developed an OECT sensor for food industry in the framework of project FRUALGAE. She brilliantly discussed her thesis entitled: “Organic Electronics Sensors for food freshness markers”.

Mattia Bosi worked at LEO in the framework of PRIN project NIFTY, developing organic electronics sensors for the detection of fluorinated neurotransmitters. He succesfully discussed his thesis: ” Organic electronics sensors based on conductive polymers for the detection of neurotransmitters and their perfluorinated analogues”, obtaining the maximum vote with “encomio”.

Ilenia Sergi was an intern at the IIT in Ferrara, under the direction of Prof. Fabio Biscarini, where she developed a fabrication system for organic electronics devices, realizing a thesis entitled: “Development and validation of an integrated system for the fabrication of organic bioelectronics devices”.

Congratulations to all of you, and best wishes for your future!

Graduation day, part 2: congratulations to Sofia, Mattia and Ilenia!
